Nice and hot. To stimulate your appetite. As hot as it should be. Not too much, not too little – also for people who don’t like it too hot. Also for gourmets who just cannot do without something hot. Balance that one notices as soon as the jar is opened. There are hot dishes that one tries and leaves. And there are hot dishes whose invitation for a dance one accepts and simply continues to eat, like a tango. This is it. A complex taste. Gradation. Sweet-hot. Then, sweet-sour-hot. Ideal combination, well known to all gourmets. Some coordination at the dining table is needed… “Is there more bread?” Somebody else is looking for the jar even though there is still some unfinished lutenca on their plate.

It could be consumed with any meal like a side dish. With scrambled eggs. With a cream cheese spread or kaymak on toast. A crunchy combination to which it adds juiciness. It could be part of a special selection of dips, served in small bowls with corn chips when watching TV or at a party. Or the classic with slightly roasted homemade crunchy country bread. Or with some traditional cheese pie. Or … with tagliatelle … and white cheese … baked. “Wow … It can’t get better!”
